BSAJ Outdoor Classroom – The Lodge
This year the BSAJ undertook their most ambitious project yet in purchasing and building the outdoor classroom “The Lodge” for Bootham Junior School. The lodge is fully insulated, has power, lighting and internet access and will provide a comfortable outdoor classroom all year round for the children to enjoy.
The children have also become part of the legacy, before the floor was installed they were able to sign their names on the white-washed floor.
As you can imagine this was an expensive undertaking and the BSAJ have organised several fundraising events and activities that will go towards paying for this including Christmas cards and mugs, second-hand uniform sales, school discos and our Christmas fair.
We would like to thank the parents that have already donated for their generosity and kindness in helping create this legacy for Bootham Junior School supported by the BSAJ.
