Basketball

The U14 Basketball team played on Tuesday against All Saints (Last years county champions). The game was very close throughout, with Bootham keeping pace with All Saints’ scoring. The game went into over time at 34-34 with Bootham eventually winning 40-34. A great result for the boys against a strong team.

The U12 Basketball team travelled to Leeds on Wednesday afternoon to play against Allerton High School in the Junior NBA National competition. The game was very close with Bootham narrowly losing by 6 points.

Football

Bootham U18 A and B teams played in the St Peter’s 6s on Wednesday afternoon. Each team played six games. The A team won four and lost two to come 2nd in their group. The B team won three, drew 2 and lost one to come 3rd in their group.

Netball

The 1st team had a fantastic win against All Saints on Wednesday afternoon. The team came out of the blocks firing to take an early lead and kept the intensity up for the whole game, eventually win 26-21.
