Role follows success in BBC Young Chorister of the Year competition.

The beautiful voice of a Bootham student features in a new film out on Disney Plus this week.

Sam Brophy has already achieved national recognition after reaching the finals of the BBC Young Chorister of the Year.

And now his vocals can be heard in the opening scenes of  ‘The Shepherd’ starring John Travolta and Ben Radcliffe.

Sam performs In the Bleak Midwinter, one of the highlights of a beautiful score by Anne Chmelewsky.
