Last Wednesday was Outdoor Classroom Day. The majority of our lessons including a whole school singing assembly and a Quaker Meeting took place outdoors. Lunch was also held outdoors and was prepared with the minimum of electricity. Lights and computers were used as little as possible, and we hope to get an idea of how much energy we saved in a day.

As part of our Outside Day, Year 3 and 4 worked together to put on a tea party! They made all the food and drinks themselves and even designed some decorations.

Yr 2 explored the rockpool for habitats and found out about the human and physical geography of the area, and of course a paddle in the sea and an ice cream!!

Year 5 in Teesdale finishing their topic on rivers as we explore from source to sea. We started at Cow Green below the source of the Tees and then walked from Low Force to High Force
