At the beginning of the term we introduced some fantastic new additions to the menu at Bootham, including an Antipasto Bar, as well as some great new sandwich fillings and summer salads to choose from.

These have proved very popular!  So Nick, our Chef, felt it was time to share a simple summer salad recipe with you all, that will go perfectly with your BBQs this year.

Summer Orange Salad


Fresh orange segments (mandarin or blood orange)
Fresh watercress
Diced fresh beetroot
Pine nuts
Red onion sliced thinly
Feta cheese (optional )
Sea salt
Cracked black pepper

Carefully combine all ingredients above, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
