The U16 team won the District play-off final against Fulford last Wednesday. The team have had an unbeaten record in the competition throughout the season and finished off with a 36-32 victory in the final.

Football – Boys
The 1st XI travelled to Hull on Wednesday to play in an independent school regional tournament. The team performed really well (despite a number of injuries), winning four games, drawing one and narrowly losing in the last kick of the game to Birkdale School. Unfortunately this late goal ruled the team out of the first place play-off final.

The U14 and U15 teams also travelled to Hull last Monday and Tuesday respectively. The U14 team lost 5-0 despite playing some good football, whilst the U15 team had a 2-0 victory with two well taken goals from Jacob O’Brien and Aidan Cardow.

The U13 team came runners up in a 5 aside tournament at Terrington on Wednesday. The same age group travelled to Millthorpe School on Thursday and lost 5-0.

Football – Girls
Seen here in their new kit, the U12/13 team played against Minster School last Thursday – it ended with an unfortunate 4-2 loss, despite having the majority of possession, looking more confident on the ball and working as a unit.  Although we had several changes in front of goal, we just unfortunately couldn’t put it away.

Last Monday, the U13 Netball team played in their District Tournament – some great skills on show and some free playing netball displayed by many teams. We played some good netball but unfortunately weren’t successful.

The U18 played against All Saints for a third time this term, a really good game, played in great spirit. Our girls played well but lost to better opposition on this occasion.
