The U16 Basketball team had two victories this week. 61-31 victory v Tadcaster and 44-22 win against Fulford
There were four basketball games this week and four wins!
The U16 team had two very competitive games. On Monday they managed a 61-31 victory over Tadcaster Grammar, whilst on Thursday they had a really close game against Fulford. The team were six points down with 3 minutes remaining, but showed great spirit to claw their way back to an eventual 44-42 victory.
The U13 team played some really good basketball in a 62-14 victory over Millthorpe on Tuesday, whilst the U18 team had a 58-42 victory over Fulford on Wednesday.
The 1st XI continued their superb run of form on Wednesday afternoon with a 5-0 victory against All Saints. The goals came from Joel Gallagher-Coates (x2), Luke Conkleton, Harry Loseby and Eddie Monkman.
The U12 football team played in the District 5-aside tournament at Playfootball on Thursday afternoon. The team beat York High (5-0) and lost to Manor (2-1), Selby (4-0) and Fulford (5-1).
Well done to everyone who has represented the school this term!
Unfortunately both our matches scheduled on Tuesday against Huntington were cancelled.
The U13 team took part in their triangular fixture at Manor School on Wednesday – they played some fantastic, skillful and expansive hockey and are really developing as a team. They drew 0-0 with Manor and 1-1 with Fulford.
A quiet week, fixture wise, but next week is much busier!
