Schools are always in need of funds and Bootham is no exception. Generous donations from individuals and from charitable trusts help Bootham extend its bursary offering and finance necessary improvements to its buildings and facilities. Click here to view the latest appeal flyer.
The Trust Office handles all such donations, ensuring that the specific wishes of donors are followed through and that everyone is kept informed about various funding needs.
To offer a donation or find out how your generosity can make a difference please contact Jane Peake: email@example.com
How your Donation is Used
Your donations will support everything we do to meet our challenge of global citizens – everything from a new science centre for all our students to creating a ‘green car’ in Lower Senior Physics lessons.
Donations may be specifically directed – for example, to bursaries for those who could not otherwise afford to come here; to new facilities at the Junior School; to new facilities for sport or for design technology - in fact the whole compass of our school’s learning activities. If you would like to specify exactly how you would like your donation to be used, please let us know.
The Bee Wall explained
The Bootham Bee Wall is displayed on the John Bright landing and in the Junior School entrance with each Bee representing a special donation.
Bees include the name of Old Scholars and their dates at school, inspiring public figures or reflections on the Quaker testimonies.
