A mixed bag of cool, very wet and finally sunshine saw the Lower Senior Geographers take to the Lake District last week. The students worked very hard despite the rain and completed enquiries into river characteristics and the impact of tourism on the landscape. On the final day they saw the legacy of the impact of Storm Desmond on Keswick. In addition to the Geography it was great to be able to see red squirrels and hear the elusive cuckoo which must mean that Spring is finally here.
Well done to all those involved.
