Yr 6 linked their recent work on newspaper articles to news-casting on issues surrounding acts of kindness, good to be different or choose respect. Subjects ranged from respectful footballers, Barack Obama and Little Miss Muffet!
The theme of this year’s Anti-Bullying Week 2018 was ‘Choose Respect’. Assemblies, workshops and lessons have been devoted to the theme of Anti-bullying, On-line safety and making the right choices to be the best version of yourself. During the week, each class carried out many acts of kindness which were talked about in Friday’s assembly.
The children looked great in their clothes expressing ‘This is me!’ We were very fortunate to have a visit from Pudsey Bear who was very grateful for all the donations for ‘Children in Need.’ Pudsey toured the School (including the kitchen to see his friends) finishing at EYFS.
