Imperial War Museum

Y6 were lucky enough to meet D-Day veteran , David Teacher last week, who landed on Juno beach aged 19. David spoke about how keeping optimistic during the war saved his life. The children told him about our 6 dispositions. When asked the most important disposition for life, David said resilience was key but the most important life skill was creativity, being able to approach life in different ways.

We were blown away!

A brilliant morning of introductory judo sessions for children in Years 3 to 6, thanks to Dan Tansey from #BritishJudo. The children’s smiles showed how much fun they were having!
