Year 2 Spanish students had a happy surprise when they came back to school last Tuesday… the Three Kings had visited them and left some sweets in their made up shoes. This is the tradition in Hispanic countries on the 6th of January, to celebrate Epiphany.
Whilst Year 4 celebrated Epiphany “à la Française”. They shared a traditional French cake, “la Couronne Briochée des Rois”. The lucky ones who found the “fève” hidden inside were crowned King and Queen.
The whole school was treated to an amazing assembly on Friday to launch our well-being focus about the benefits of singing for emotional health with Jess singing about different feelings. Jess then held workshops for Years 5 & 6, helping them to talk about their feelings and show how this can be used to write songs. With some amazing results! #talentedkids #musicislife
