Over 250,000 students from more than 3,000 schools across the UK competed in the Intermediate Maths Challenge. Students had one hour to answer 25 questions. High scores were awarded certificates to recognise their success, with the top scorers invited to take part in follow-on competitions.

Certificates were awarded across Upper Schoolroom and Lower Senior Bootham Students receiving 4 gold, 7 silver and 12 bronze certificates.

Special mention to Charles Thornton in Upper Schoolroom who gained ‘Best in Year’ and ‘Best in School’, and to Toby Chan in Lower Seniors who gained ‘Best in Year’.

Charles, Benji and Alexander from Upper Schoolroom also qualified for the Grey Kangaroo Challenge; which they subsequently sat. We are awaiting their results!
