The last week of the Easter break saw Liz, Anne and Rob from the Geography department accompany 29 students from Seniors and College to Iceland. Students explored geysirs, waterfalls, and hot springs, went off-road in Super Jeeps, walked on glaciers, swam in geothermally heated pools and ate zero food miles Icelandic ice-cream. The students behaved very well and were rewarded by an amazing final treat of the northern lights when we were leaving for the airport at 3 o’clock in the morning….definitely worth getting up for!
