Here’s how to find Polaris (Pole Star) if you so desire or just want to prove to your mates that you are an absolute nerd. You will need: minimal light pollution, pair of eyes, and some patience.

Just find Ursa Minor in the sky; the stars which represents this asterism is linked up in a red line. Find the tail of the asterism, which is connected to the top left of the quadrilateral during spring times. The third star in the series will be the Pole Star.
