On Friday 9th March Bootham Schools Charity Committee will be holding a charity bake sale, to raise money for our Charity of the Term: Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals.  They are the largest dedicated funder of paediatric research in the UK.  Furthermore the charity supports ground-breaking research into the development of new treatments and funds the most up-to-date equipment.  In addition they also provide accommodation and other support services for children and their families whilst at hospital.

Charity Bake Sale

Most noteworthy last academic year we raised a fantastic £574.16 from bake sales for various charities.  So this year we hope to collect even more.  To raise this money we need your help.  Therefore we would be delighted if you could help by contributing baked goods – cakes, buns, biscuits, brownies – homemade or shop bought treats are welcomed.  And if we could please ensure ALL bakes/goods are nut free, as Bootham School is a nut free school.  The more items we have to sell the more money we can raise for this worthwhile cause.  Items can be dropped at reception on the morning of the bake sale, with tins and plates returned for collection by 4pm.

Thank you in advance!
