On Thursday 26th April we held our annual student-led ‘Amnesty International Fashion Show’. This year the theme was Time Travel. Students from both the Junior and Senior School as well as staff showed off a careful selected array of inventive outfits – from Caveman to Dystopian Future. It was an exciting, innovative and professional event. Amnesty International is a charity focused on human rights. Their objective is to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end abuses of human rights, and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated.  Amnesty International draws attention to human rights abuses and campaigns for compliance with international laws and standards. It works to mobilise public opinion to put pressure on governments that let abuse take place.

Ticket sales, a crisis lunch, donations from a bake sale and a very lively art auction raised a total of £1356.71! What an achievement!
