Autumn Term 2012

Thursday 6th October - Beekeeping Evening

Parent David Bough will give us an informative talk about beekeeping on Thursday October 6th at 7.30pm in the Recital Room. There will be a demonstration hive and live bees although hopefully sleepy ones! You can also taste some of the honey taken from David's hives and there will be honey themed refreshments. This talk is free and open to all parents from both Senior and Junior schools. However if you intend to come, please could you let the BSA know your numbers so that we can ensure we can accommodate everybody comfortably? Please contact Louise Lewis at bsa@boothamschool.com

Thursday 10th November - Family Quiz

This is a fun quiz for all the family and the winning team will be awarded a 'trophy prize'.  Enjoy a pie and pea supper with your children at 6.30pm in the dining room, followed by the quiz at 7pm in the John Bright Library.  Numbers for pie and peas should be given in advance, by Monday 7th, by writing to the bsa@boothamschool.com.  The whole family is welcome.  Numbers need only be given for non-pupils as senior school pupils must leave their numbers for tea at reception during the week.
