Director of Sport
The governors have created this new post in order to maximise the school-wide work of the PE department: it offers a remarkable opportunity for a dynamic and innovative PE professional. Bootham already enjoys good provision for PE and sport, a wealth of enthusiasm amongst the students, teachers and parents, and sport features strongly on our capital development programme.

Assistant Head (Teaching & Learning)
We wish to appoint an Assistant Head (Teaching & Learning) from September 2012 who will provide adventurous and sensitive leadership on pedagogy, the curriculum, and academic staffing – crucial leadership in vital areas of our work – and be a fully contributing member of our Leadership Meeting.

German Language Assistant
We are looking for a German Language Assistant from September 2012, initially for 8 hours per week. You must be a native speaker able to give individual and small group conversation lessons to GCSE and A level students and possibly work with students in our Junior School. You should be outgoing and approachable and must like working with children of all ages and making the language fun.
Hourly rate: £18.35
