Welcome to the Online version of our prospectus.
Bootham was founded in 1823 as an academic school for the sons of Quakers. Even then, many who were not from Quaker families enjoyed the opportunities which the school offered and the school has long been known as a place where girls and boys of all faiths and backgrounds can live happily together.
