Academic and social well-being
When students join the School they also a form or tutor group . The form tutors take special responsibility for the academic performance and the social well-being of each individual in their care.

At Bootham we set our reputation on the strength of our pastoral care and the form tutors know that they play a key role in discharging this responsibility. Parents and guardians are our partners in ensuring that the School provides the right structures and atmosphere for our students.
