Pupils
are required to take a certain number of activities per week according
to which year group they are in:
| Lower & Middle Schoolroom boarders | 5 activities |
| Lower & Middle Schoolroom day pupils | 4 activities |
| Upper Schoolroom boarders | 4 activities |
| Upper Schoolroom day pupils | 3 activities |
| Lower Senior boarders and day pupils | 2 activities |
| Upper Senior boarders and day pupils | no minimum number |
In the second half of each term, staff provide information about the numbers, age and experience required for their activities, then pupils choose activities for each day of the week. Pupils then have one week in which to change their minds, after which they must stay with the activity for the rest of the term.
Older pupils may opt to do prep during this time, and this is also supervised by a member of staff.
